<p>Bicycles are not usually thought of as a form of public transport, but the concept has been challenged successfully in the world in the public use of bicycles (pubs). The introduction of the smart card in the pub concept was created on &#8220;Smart Honda and the bike path to becoming a city REVOLUTIONARY public transport system in the world. Paper that will explain the publication concept, consider a pub, and talk of current and planned implementation of the Smart Honda. </p>
<p><strong>What is a pub and How Does It Work?</strong> </p>
<p> The basic premise of the publication is the concept of sustainable transport. Publication is ideal for urban transport, due to its advantages in other types of public transport, as are the following: </p>
<p> &#8211; Provides in transport demand, <br /> &#8211; Arrive at destination is not accessible transit <br /> &#8211; Requires less than the other mode of transportation infrastructure, <br /> &#8211; Is it cheaper to produce and maintain, <br /> &#8211; Do not add to congestion, &#8211; do not create pollution, <br /> &#8211; Reduce the theft of personal bicycles, and <br /> &#8211; Provide users with the added benefit of exercise. </p>
<p> Some other mode of transportation offers many or all of these benefits. A pub is a bike that can be used to meet their transportation needs in an environmentally sound manner. One is to use a pub to get to their destination, and then leave the publication at that location for another use. The theory is that a few hundreds or thousands of pubs in the street, there should always be a publication available for use. </p>
<p> Three generations of pubs, with four current generated. To better understand the third and fourth generation of pubs, which is better known as Smart bike, it is important to understand how the concept of pub come. Probably 50 cities around the world in the bars. Most of these programs exist in Europe, including some of North America, and some in Asia. <p> The pub concept started in 1968 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as a progressive ideology of a period. Cricket Schimmelpennink with the government of the city of Amsterdam launched the &#8220;White Honda pub program placement of a small number of pubs in the city. </p>
<p> The bars then distributed throughout the city and always clean and cheap transport. Unfortunately, the program is abused. Pubs are not left on sidewalks, but taken at her home for private use or thrown in many canals of Amsterdam. More than a decade later, a similar program launched in Milan, Italy, with 1,000 pubs, but not when none of the pubs will be returned to the streets after a short period of use.</p>
<p><strong>First generation of pubs</strong></p>

<p> Designer of the second generation of pubs learned from their experiences and created a publishing program that is more reliable and less likely stolen. This time, specially designed pubs are made. The bars are designed to be utilitarian and require less maintenance than the previous pub. Including pubs, special racks are designed to bars and are eliminated. The racks are strategically placed at train and bus stops, multi-storey housing complexes, shopping districts, attractions and other places that receive a large volume of foot traffic. The racks took the randomness of the search for a pub. </p>
<p> To ensure the pubs are returned to the racks, a coin-operated locking mechanism is attached to the center of the handlebar. To use a pub, is a refundable deposit insert a coin to unlock the device from the rack. The coin has a large deposit that is sufficient to entice users to return to the publication to another special designed rack and locking that the deposit is returned. </p>
<p> The maximum amount of coins in the country serve as a reservoir for the device, ranging from $ 1 &#8211; $ 3, however, for different countries. To ensure a publication that will be readily available for use, is crucial to concentrate the bars within a specified limit. The combination of both gets you more gas mileage. As an example the 2008 Toyota Prius, a well-known hybrid car, gets 48 miles per gallon as oppose to a comparable 4-cylinder non-hybrid car, like the Honda Civic, that gets 36 miles per gallon. The point is hybrid technology lets you to cover more grounds for a given set of resources, gasoline in this case.</p>
<p>In the bicycling world, the term hybrid refers to bicycles with electric motors. The traditional push pedaling made easy with electricity. Instead of higher gas mileage, you get more miles pedaling and best yet, you don&#8217;t have to buy gas (because it&#8217;s a bicycle).</p>
<p>In the past, at least in the United States, gas prices were never been a concern. Up until 2006, Americans were able to buy gas for under $2.00 per gallon. That&#8217;s practically nothing! And times have changed since then.</p>
<p>In other parts of the world, however, they haven&#8217;t been so lucky. Europeans have been experiencing gas prices $5-$8 per gallon. But they still get around. Common among their usual transport is a bicycle. You&#8217;ve seen many pictures of common folks getting around town bicycling. To get more &#8220;mileage&#8221;, a lot of Asians and Europeans use hybrid electric motor bikes.</p>
<p>The other advantage of using an electric bike is the benefit that it gives to your health. Since you&#8217;re pedaling, you&#8217;re exercising which makes you healthy. Of course, not everyone is in superb physical shape to be pedaling from one side of the city to the other. But remember, it&#8217;s a hybrid bike. The electric motor helps you pedal. Therefore you can get in shape slowly, but at the same time do so enjoying the outside.</p>
<p>The price of a hybrid electric bike may set you back from $400 to $2000. But that should pay for itself within a year if you can save on $50-$70 a month on gas and/or $20-$30/month on gym membership.</p>
<p>It’s very important to consider the global warming effect that the gasoline operated cars produce. Among others, gasoline is a concern. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many bike speed records have been broken by recumbent bikes. Recumbent bicycles were banned from international racing in the year 1934 and they hadn&#8217;t seen widespread use until toward the end 20th century.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
A recumbent bicycle is a kind of bicycle which places the rider in a seated or supine position and rarely, in a prone position.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Recumbent bikers hold many world speed records for human powered, non-paced types of races. Interestingly, tricycles actually fall into the recumbent bike category and for whatever reason are generally accepted into the main &#8216;upright bike&#8217; category.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Recumbent bikes are typically classified further by the size of their wheelbase. There are long wheelbase recumbent bikes (LWB), short wheelbase (SWB) recumbent bikes, and (CLWB) compact long wheelbase recumbent bikes.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Each of these types of recumbent bikes also have somewhat different positioning of the pedals and wheels as compared to the seat. With long wheelbase recumbent bikes the pedals are located in between the seat and the front wheel.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
Compact wheelbase recumbent bikes have their pedals either above the front wheel or very close to it. And short wheelbase recumbent bicycles have their pedals in front of the front wheel.</p>

Recumbent bikes have several advantages over upright or traditional bikes. Some of these differences are described below:</p>

Recumbent bikes encourage a posture that reduces strain on the body. This makes them great for longer trips.  When a bike is comfortable for long periods of time it makes sense that we&#8217;re likely to bike farther, right?</p>

A big plus is lower body circulation too. In a recumbent bike our legs are positioned at nearly the same height as our hearts, thus reducing hydrostatic pressure and the heart&#8217;s job of circulating blood through those areas.</p>

Recumbent bikes are much more stable for obvious reasons: with some there are more wheels! Also, recumbent bikes are situated closer to the ground.</p>

When choosing a recumbent bicycle, riders have many more varieties to choose from than with traditional upright bikes. There are all kinds of variations and degrees of uprightness from which to choose.</p>

There are some disadvantages as well. For one, recumbent bikes don&#8217;t allow riders to change positions, such as standing on an upright bike while going down a hill. And you&#8217;ll have to boost a whole new set of muscles. Recumbent bicycles use different muscle groups to power the bike than do upright bicycles.</p>

Unlike upright bikes, there is a subculture of recumbent builders who design and build home-built recumbent bicycles. Many times these are assembled of parts from other bicycles, particularly mountain bikes. The frame designs may be as simple as a long steel tube bent into the appropriate shape to hand-built carbon fiber frames. For a good many builders, the engineering of the bikes is as much of a challenge and fun as riding them.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It seems that recumbent bikes are becoming big news these days. With their popularity growing, one of the big questions people have is about safety. Are recumbents safe to ride on the streets? How safe are they compared to other bicycles? Here&#8217;s a look.</p>
<p>One of the big advantages in riding a recumbent bike is the comfort level. It is truly a unique experience. Unlike a standard bike where you are hunched over the handlebars, you sit back on a recumbent. The wide padded seat is comfortable and there is virtually no stress on your knees and back.</p>
<p>Riding one of these bikes is somewhat like driving a car. You are sitting back like you would behind the wheel. It&#8217;s also very relaxing and allows you a full view net only a front of you, but to the sides as well.</p>
<p>One of the things you will really like on a recumbent is going downhill. It is so much fun, and you can really build up speed. This is due mainly to having a lower center of gravity and better aerodynamics than regular bicycles do.</p>
<p>The safety issue is where the recumbent bike holds a huge edge. You are able to see cars all around you much easier than being on a bicycle. It&#8217;s easy to look next to you and have eye contact with any motorist.</p>
<p>Another reason for their safety is that cars will automatically pay more attention to you because these bikes are still not something you see on the read everyday. They are looking at your more often than not just to check out the bike and trying to understand how it works.</p>
<p>It is amazing at the many differences between these two bikes. You will quickly begin to enjoy the many benefits of recumbent bikes, not to mention the increased fun they provide.</p>
